What Are Cannabinoids?

Cannabinoids are naturally occurring compounds found in cannabis plants. They interact with your body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS), which helps regulate things like mood, appetite, pain, and sleep. Often found in aged cannabis. People say CBN makes them feel sleepy or mellow — so it shows up in a lot of nighttime blends and edibles.

Do Cannabinoids Work Together?

Cannabinoids don’t act alone. When THC, CBD, CBG, and terpenes are all present together, they can boost or balance each other’s effects — this is called the entourage effect. That’s why full-spectrum products (with a mix of compounds) often feel more well-rounded than isolates.

Start with THC or a balanced THC/CBD blend. THC can ease tension and help you settle into the moment, while CBD tones things down.

Want focus or pain relief without the high?

Try CBG or CBD. Both may help with mental clarity, calming, and pain relief.

Look into CBN or THC-heavy strains. CBN is often used for rest, and THC can help slow your mind down, easing you into sleep.
